Question Can these e-Bay mufflers be used on our cars??

These seem like an easy way to go if you buy a header and have a shop weld up everything for you custom. then put these on for the SS polished $1000 exhaust look with the same power gians for less $$$.

I guess... but I dont think they flow very nicely. I mean the exit on the muffler looks to be like 1.5in at best.

it should be 2.5" from the inlet straight through the muffler. I'd wonder what the muffler was packed with though, if it's packed with fiberglass, it's not going to be the longest lasting muffler you ever buy.

As far as breathability for a NA, I don't see the harm...just leave the silencer out.

it does look a little small on exit, I am just looking at possiblities.

Well, it does say that the exit is 3.5, but that isn't really of any concern. What should be of concern is the inlet size, size of the passageway, and packing material in the muffler.

try the OBX mufflers at www.testpipe.com there packed with stainless steel got a lifetime rust and corrosion warranty and 10 year craftsmanship. i got em on my car and love em

Why not just buy a GOOD exhaust system, instead of going for the look of one?
