Can I use S4 5th & 6th port actuators on my S5?
Just as the title says. I searched and couldnt get aclear result. my actuators seem to be stuck on my S5, so I was going to pull them off the S4 that works.
is this a good idea, or shoudl I just try to remove and un-stick them?

figured I'd just go take it off. I foudn they are quite different andmy ports are stuck. So I'm going to b unsticking..I'm kind of excited that they are stuck in away since it means my car will be faster once I unstick.
Im pretty sure they wont work because S4 actuators "suck" the rod in to activate the ports. I think S5 actuators push the rod out. If, when the car is turned off, the rods are all the way in in the actuators, then they will not work.
Oh, and i feel your excitement. Mine were stuck up until a month ago, unstuck=godliness. Dont get too excited on ur first launch or you will over-rev before u can shift to 2nd. I almost did and it wasnt even full throttle lol.

they won't work and if you manage to squeeze them on they won't operate properly because it is different for s4 and s5
go here and look at both s4 and s5

The actual rods themselves can be made to work. The issue is with the actuators themselves. You will have to do some slight adjusting to the little piec of metal that stops the total rotation from going too far. Another interesting thing is that you will have to take the rod out inside the sleeve itself and reinstall it in the opposite direction. This sounds strange but if you play with them you'll see what I mean. I have S4 actuator rods in my S5 manifold. It can be done with a little effort.
