I was close, I was going to say 720's primaries, and 1600's in the secondaries, but I decided not to comment, because I didnt want to give the wrong information out to MaxdaRx7Racer4Life. I have heard of this injector combo before the 720's/1600's used in Turbo II's, however I have never heard of 550's in the primaries this is new info to me, then again I didnt search I was going to, but I never got around to doing it. So I left it to good ol "NZ'' to give his expert advice on the topic. By the way NZ im not saying your old

550cc primaries with 1600cc secondaries sounds like a pretty big gap in-between that would require some funky fuel tuning with an AFC or a standalone to get it right and streetable.

so leave the primary fuel rail with the stock injectors and get 1600 secondaries? I am going to be going standalone before I upgrade my injectors because I can't control them if not right?

550cc/min (stock) primaries and 1600cc/min secondaries (Bosch?) Plus a standalone and FMIC will be enough to support my 400rwhp goal. Perfect. ONe last question, will I need a custom fuel rail to mount up the Bosch 1600cc secondaries? What about a FPR? (even with standalone and walbro)

OK, I found the fuel rail on rx7store.net for the 1600cc/min injectors, I am guessing they will not not on otherwise right? What about a FPR? Do I need one with my setup?

Anybody who needs that much fuel is not going to be using an S-AFC, and MazdaRx7Racer4Life has already said he'll be using a standalone. A Haltech (dunno about MicroTech) will have no problems with this set-up if tuned right. There are long threads about doing just this in the EMS section.

Correct.

Good thinking. If you can afford it, do it.

Yes you will need to upgrade your Fuel Rail for the 1600's.
