Can i put my carpet in a washing machine?

Car carpet washing machine
I took out of car in 1 piece
folded it with carpet side out
There were holes on edges of carpet where it was attached to car
so I used zip ties to hold together
Then rolled it up and put in 6 load
Washer with dawn dish soap
