new carpet

The carpet in my car(grey) looks like ****. I want to get new black carpet. What I am looking for is something that is not fuzzy, you know not so bushy, short stiff carpet. I want black. At first I was just going to by some carpet but my friend said It needs to be fitted or something because of the curves and ****……sound right. Well any info is good. Thanks

I know you can get a carpet kit from Victoria British. Not sure on the "bushyness" of it though. I believe that carpet is fitted though so you do not have to do too much cutting. Cutting for screw holes and such is a given for almost anything you get though.

Check out ebay. There is usually a company that sells molded carpets for our cars.

you can just buy the carpet yourself and take some cardboard to mold out the shape and then cut the carpet and replace it
thats what my friend did, pretty nice job actually

'not fuzzy?'

hmmm, the carpet that I got from Auto Custom Carpets in Anniston Al is definitely short, but may be considered a bit fuzzy.

I would call it short and plush, if you mean a tight weave like a berber then it may not be the type for you.

Check out their website, I can't remember the cost but it was the best deal that I could find at the time, and it comes molded, not quite like the factory stuff but if you want a real eye opener call the dealer and ask what they want for OEM stuff!

The S4 GXL came with a "Deluxe" carpet - ie it was a bit more plush. If you have a GXL, then look for a carpet from a base model - it will be less fuzzy.
