Can i put 89 turbo injectors in a 88 turbo

I looked around a bit and didnt find anything. but my friends got a 88 turbo and the injectors are bad. I found some 89 turbo injectors and was wounding if they would work. If this has been talked about before point me in the right direction.
thanks.

Best I can do for ya. They're both high impedance, but they have different plug notches and positions. Adapter maybe?

You'll have to replace the connectors to use the s5 (oval style) on the s4 (square)

Be sure and carry a fire extingisher. No margin for error with fuel under the hood. I know people have done it with no problems but I'm a chicken.

Last time I checked was no. They use different plugs and are high impedence. You can solve the impendece problem by using a resister but the plug is still not the same. (Im pretty sure the 88 has low, there still s4 so...)

Some 88's are high and some are low impedence. I have high impedence on my 88. Only way to tell for sure what you have is to get out a multimeter and test the resistance.
