C16 race gas. My low boost will be 18 lbs, but that's 93 octane, completely streetable. Since you already ordered the 1600cc's then maybe you should get 720cc's that sounds good to me. I think you'll be well over 400rwhp, you could boost 18 lbs on the street safely.

That sounds sweet, obviously it has to be a standalone to control injectors so big right?

Yep microtech, a guy named Gabby from Puerto Rico is gonna tune it some time next month. He tuned a local 9 second street driven FD (Sporty). I'm hoping to put down 540 rwhp at 28 lbs. BTW I have a 13BRE rebuilt, but I still have stock ports (which are bigger than a 13BT street ported). As soon as I get it dyno'ed I will post the numbers. Trust me you could put down some good numbers also, just get a good tuner. Your car could put down 500 whp on race gas.

No problem. When your car is done, either come up to Orlando for a Rx-7 meet or I'll go down to Miami for a meet, I want to see that car when it's done.

Looking at the Compressor Map, you can see that the T66 doesn't even hit its real efficiency range until boost levels much higher than what you run on the street on pump gas. PR 2.2+

So yes, it can do a lot more than 400whp.

Alex, the fuel rails that you can get, do they come premodified to fit 1600's and 720's or do I have to modify them?

Since your in Miami thats Easy!

Crispeed can make you one
Hes shop is beside SFP's last I knew
SFP also makes them

But I prefer you give your buiness to a fellow
Rotor Head.........

He can also tune Haltech's quite nicely too
if you decide to go that route

2.2 PR is not that bad.
You need to knock off the first 1.0, so it's actually 1.2 (ATM?) or about 18psi.  That's right on the edge of most pump gas.

The fuel rails are already made to fit 1600cc's and 850cc's. Don't worry 720cc's will fit on the bottom rail. I'll do another price check for you. Don't know how much shipping will be but, it can't be much since I'm in orlando and it's a small package. I'll PM you the final price if you'd like. This guy makes the rails does a really really good job, I'm using these rails on my car. Since kabooski says that there is a good local tuner, you should get whatever stand alone he's good with since they're all basically the same. So go with him.

Good luck,
Alex

Ohh, thats good, Im going to need the numbers of these shops, they might have a special deal on sale+install+tune. So I need to know about Crispeed, Rosado Racing and SFPs. I had no idea I was close to all these tuners.

actually the 12k was to do more then just upgrades. its a full turbo swap, full paint job (engine bay, door jambs ect) and alot of other ****. i am turning my car into a show car. and i bought a diffrent turbo the the T66 i was planning on getting. i ended up with a T72. here is where you can buy the T66. http://store.yahoo.com/cheapturbo/turt66balbea.html

Oops.., I never had a HKS manifold I had a GReddy and now have a divided thing. But, the T4 footprint turbine housing will bolt to the HKS manifold.

If you will run no more boost than you can on pump gas, I would and did get a smaller turbo than a T-66. In the Turbonetics line, I think the 60-1 is the best for the street.

I now have a T04E-57. It has more power down low than my T-66 had and still makes the same top end power, 375 rwhp. I wish I could have afforded the 60-1, but I found a good deal on a T04E minus the turbine housing.

So, now I have a T04E-57 and a 1.15 a/r divided turbine housing on a fully divided exhaust manifold.

I miss you folks! I'll be back.
Mike
