calling all verts

ok guys, sorry that I almost gave up on such a great car :] After I put my cat pipe and Y pipe on, the car ran GREAT!!! I havent decided on whether to put the stock mufflers back on, or put aftermarkets on now and then an after market Y pipe later or just wait and do the whole thing later.
Anyway, was hoping you guys could help me out, I'm looking for pics of verts with body kits, body mods, aftermarket wheels, pics of vert sound systems, engine bays of modified verts, custom paint jobs. I mean, there are pics all over the place of the hatchbacks with anything and everything you could ever imagine having done but I dont see a lot of custom vert pics, please post away :]

Surprise, Surprise.

The car does not need a body kit. I've seen a few cars that are tastefully done with very minor body work, namely Travis Shrey's Vert.

I'm thinking about some side skirts like on the demon kit but not something as agressive as the demon bumper, maybe just a lip

I think its hilarious if not hypocritical that many of the people who cringe at the thought of putting a piston engine in a Vert or non-vert RX7 have not problem ruining the clean lines of their car with side skirts and other modifications.

I'd post a picture of my vert but why bother, its 100% stock baby-the way it should be.

therotaryrocket85, is that a little bit of rust in front of your rear wheel? Is that pretty common on verts?

Im suprised you noticed that hehe. No its not rust shes been in texas all her life. What it is when the original owner had it repainted apparently they didnt prep well in that spot and so the paint started cracking there and trying to seperate. He took a rubber like sealant and put it over the crack to keep the paint from comming off and then put touch up paint over it and wallaa his bandaid repair. I plan to fix it later on this summer but for now thats the only mark on the car. It is hard to notice in person but the angle of that particular pic makes it look obvious. Thanks for pointing out the flaw on my car! hehe j/k

You warm climate owners make me upset.....little to no rust and being able to drop your tops more than 4 months a year...

I just got mine in April and will be updating the seats/tires/paint in reverse order.....unless my banker (err wife) says otherwise

The previous owner took ok care of it...but it is showing the stress of Canadian Winters being parked outside.....Never again will it stay out in the cold of the North.

Replaced the tranny/metering pump so far this year.....and my wife thought it would be cheaper than a mid-life crisis ..ha fooled her

my wife has no clue how much I put into my cars. As I buy parts cars, I sell off unneeded stuff and in turn use that to fund my car addiction. Can;t wait till she finds out about my next project....

BTW, if any of you spot a harbor blue metallic or a brave blue s5 'vert for sale, let me know. As I mentioned above, I'm considering another project vert. Looking for one with a weak or blown engine that I can get cheap, not a clean, expensive runner.
