Caliper Ebrake Spring Pin

Hi all I was wondering if there is a part number for the RX7 Ebrake spring pin in the picture below. Mine is missing and as a result the parking brake for the rear left caliper is not working. Tried looking for a rear left caliper online but they are out of stock everywhere(Turbo Caliper). Thanks

Mazda has no listing for that pin.

It looks like Rockauto has a left rear caliper available. https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...b,caliper,1704

Probably a cheaper option would be to buy a generic pin from McMaster-Carr (https://www.mcmaster.com/pins) and rig up something that would work.

how about just threading that and using a bolt?

That pin looks easily driven out and any generic pin of the correct diameter would work.
A quick ramble through a junkyard would probably provide any number of calipers from which a pin could be extracted.
Let's not make a mountain out of a molehill, this is an easily solved problem.

Thanks for the link, the one that's available is for the non-turbo version, unfortunately. I'll have to see what the size of the pin is so I can get a similar one fro mcmaster.

From the Rockauto website: "CARDONE 19B1079 {#FB0126710B, FB0126990F} Remanufactured; Unloaded Caliper w/Bracket Info
Rear Left; GTU Model; GTUs Model; GXL 2+2; GXL Model; with Normal Suspension; Casting # 1315; with Metal Piston"

This CARDONE 19B1079 left rear caliper does fit both S4 and S5 TII. The calipers for the S5 GTUs, GXL and TII are all the same.

On my car, the pin popped out and damaged the splines during a rebuild.

I tapped it (M7x1.0 IIRC) and threaded in a spare caliper bleed screw from another set of calipers. The notch between the nipple and the hex portion of the bleed screw holds the spring.
