cai problems...
well i was making my cai: took out the washer fluid bottle, cut the hole under the airbox, ran piping inside to my K&N cone filter
but i think i bought too big of a filter because the only way it'll fit is either pushing out the plastic fender lining into the tire or hanging out of the bottom which would flood out my engine if i went through more than 3" of standing water...
if anyone has done a cai like i'm doing and used a K&N filter give me the number off of the box so i can order one

Yes you did something wrong. You bought a filter before measuring up how much room you have. K&N make a million different sized pod filters, and every single one is listed on their website. You should have no trouble finding one to fit as long as you know how big it can be.
