Angry buzzing sound

My car makes the most annoying sound ever..it BUZZES and the ADD COOLANT line comes on..funny thing is that the coolant lever is fine...Any way i could like unplugg something to make it shut off? Also when ever i get on it my temp gauge goes up...like half way then i get to scared and drive it like a cadillac! I changed the water pump and the thermostat not tooo long ago....Ive done 2 radiator flushes..and i dont have any leaks....

So you've never had to add coolant to the system? when the buzzer comes on, and you remove the pressure cap, theres coolant flowing inside?

If the buzzer is shorted out via a bad wire, it will NOT buzz if there is no coolant wich is a very bad thing. So it can't be that.

If your temp guage goes up its obviously a real problem. Have you cleared out all the air?

^either that, or the seals are bad and combustion gasses are getting into the system?

check the plug for the coolant level sensor, sensor is on the top center of the radiator. make sure it's in good and not rediculously corroded.

You're supposed to purge the coolant system by removing the top drain plug while you fill. YOu replace that plug while pouring in coolant to keep as much air bubbles out as possible.

Cool buzzing

you can unhook the long black plug behind the drivers kick panel ... near the fuse box .... but youll have to keep an I out for the warning lights cause all buzzing will stop!!!!!!!!!!!!

ah yeah, right... I can only assume you are meaning the CPU main plug, which would have nothing to do with the buzzer for the Low oil/ Low coolant/ over rev buzzer as it is built into the gauges.

And it wouldn't have anything to do with the power steering CPU if it saw an error.

And top it off, if it is the CPU plug you are talking about, if you unplugged the CPU, you would no longer have horn, alt failure, etc.

Please don't post if you don't know what you are talking about.

I had the same problem with my car when I replaced my radiator. What it took to get the buzzer to stop annoying me was to heat the car up without the radiator cap, once the engine is warm and water is circulating through the system, you need to manually accelerate the car by hand or have a friend give it some gas. The level will drop. At this point you keep feeding the engine water until it is spilling over. It seems ridiculous, but that how I was taught to do it from a Mazda dealership.

Hope that helps...

You have a bad sensor. Hit the junk yard and pull one off any pre 88 mazda. (There all the same) As for your heating, can't be to many things. And since you said you replaced the pump and thermo, gotta be the radiator. Is it the stock one? Run car untill it starts to get a bit hot, then check for hot spots on the radiator surface. Sounds like its clogged up and flushing wont help at this point.
