Its most likely either A) the Oil Low sensor, or B) the Add Coolant sensor. Either of which requires attention. Check your oil, check your coolant levels. Perhaps one of the idiot lights burned out (like my oil level light, if there ever was one)... now when I have a buzz and no light I just add a quart of oil.

If neither of those solves your problem, it may be a broken overrev buzzer in your tach, which is not an easy fix, IIRC.

its prolly your coolant buzzer... check the connector on top of your rad. make sure your coolant system running properly like no air bubbles inside and fluid is topped up. for a temporary fix just ground that connector and it should disappear... this method is only a bandaid so dont leave it there for too long... even though i just leave it grounded haha

If the coolant reservoir is empty, I too would say you have air in your system and need to purge it out.

Why would your drive with no coolant in the reservoir??? Do you want to buy a new motor or car? The reservoir helps protect against air getting into the system

Yeah, I'd try to ground the coolant sensor as recommended, and try to cheat the oil sensor too. If it goes out for one of those, the sensor is bad. If you can't get it to go out, then I'd say its probably a short in the CPU. The buzzer, IIRC, is located in the CPU anyway. You can always disconnect it or replace it with a resistor similar to the buzzer resistance. I haven't gone in there to do that, but that's what I'd do.

or replace the CPU buzzer with a lower dB buzzer. Around a 3-15 volt 70dB buzzer would be just loud enough to hear over road noise.

Yes, but I think his intention is to get rid of the noise altogether... That is, of course, assuming that the cause is not easily identified.
