buttons for ignition?

hey guys instead of using the key and ignition switch (that i just removed) on my steering column, i want to have some switches instead im going to make a dash too so no worries on where to put them.

But i need to know what kind of switch to use for my ignition and what kind of button to use for my starter?

If anyone knows some part #s or something that would help alot.

thx

Summit sells just the button for 7.99. Pegasus Racing Supplies is cheaper on the toggle switches. You may find them cheapest at a hardware store, though. Painless (Wiring) sells a panel w/ push button start, ign., and one accy. for 73.99 already mounted in a panel and with lights. It's obviously cheaper to build your own panel.

lol actually im putting ignitions switches and the such on my car i just removed the column lock/ignitions switch off of my car.

if you want to do this alls you need is a chisle a hammer and a screwdriver

you notch some groves on the top of the screws and then unscrew it with a screwdriver..after that just unplug the plugs. but you have to have something in lue of the ignition switch.
