Unhappy busted turbo??

I have an 88 mazda rx-7 annivarsary edition. I have noticed that lately my turbo doesn't have that whistling sing to it anymore. Instead of a whistle, it sounds more like a rattling, like my turbo is loose and it is not spinning smoothly, or something like that. It still kicks the boost up high like it used to, but I am worried that it is breaking. Have any of you had this problem? Is my turbo about to blow? I have also noticed that my exaust is making a weezing sound somewhere around the turbo. I thought maybe the exaust was just coming loose, but could it be something else with the turbo?? Thanks to all of you for the help!
