in Canada, cars older than 1990 do not require cats... to the best of my knowledge.

 

My muffler shop said they had to reinstall the cat when putting on the header. I said how about installing it loose on the passenger seat? Cool..

 

They don't check **** in my town only at inspection but if you got buddies that own a garge :P:. the cops don't know the diff between a presilencer and a cat atleast here anyways. I live in PA and they don't have the sniffer test here.
