Question BS forced induction topics

Can the moderators perhaps just delete them on sight or something? It really is ridiculous. Not only the topic, but all the replies and arguments it generates...

Talking

i dunno i was gonna post about my forced induction that i thought up.... acutally its more like nitrous.... you see your run a tube to your butthole right, then you hook it up to intake manifold and when you fart the gas that you produce also has methane and could assist in the combustion.... my only problem would be farting that much, but my friend said he can make himself fart and he'd ride shotty with the tube up his ***.... im think i can cut a whole second off my time with this idea what do you guys think? nah jk jk
seriously tho..... you would think that any moron would know this wouldnt work!!!! the airpump supercharger and the vaccum cleaner idea the leafblower one.... blah blah blah it doesnt work u guys!!! if it did why the *** would we be spending big cash AKA bling bling. on turbos and superchargers. IF IT WORKED im sure some idiot about 5 years ago would of figured it out already....oh we woulda have the factory opition leafblower forced induction, with vaccum cleaner exhuast sucking opition next person that writes about that half assed idea of forced induction will be forever marked as in my books damnit!!!!

I'm not sure how the other moderators feel about it, but I think that it is better to bring the BS topics out to the open and let them get debunked or supported by the other forum members. Granted, it's sometimes hard to tell what is correct when there are a lot of conflicting views, however I think that it is better for readers to see the differing opinions and then make up their own mind.

Also, it is difficult to determine what is BS and what isn't. Even the "gurus" on this forum don't agree with each other 100% of the time.

I know it's frustrating, but that's the nature of the internet. As a consolation, I still think that what we have on the internet forums is MUCH better than the information available back in the olden days before the internet was easily accessible.

But the problem is that no matter how debunked they get and how much actual physics is presented, the original poster (and those that agree with him/her) never learn anyway...

i agree with evil aviator. its better for the community if we help people understand what can and cant be done. some people have the weird and retarded ideas but that doesnt mean they should be ridiculed and insulted like iv seen here in some threads.

if you cant be be friendly and polite on this forum i sure as hell dont wanna meet you in real life..... you might be worse....

everyone should give the same respect theyd like to get back.

It's not about being mean, it's about the fact that the forum gets cluttered up with reasons why it won't work, then all the smart-*** stuff that continues for several pages...Perhaps instead of deleting them, just closing them after the first "it will not work" reply. That way, the information is still there, but there can be no silliness.

The simiple solution is to not read them. (hense why I don't) Surprisingly some of the people trying to debunk one of these schemes were surprisingly arrogant cosidering their arguments had some problems too. (I don't mean Aaron)

BTW: It's not nice to so blatantly bash someone so badly by blocking them!

i agree 100%, i would rather be able to read something and decide for myself than be told, that "x" is the answer.

"then all the smart-*** stuff that continues for several pages"

i agree totally..... that stuff is unnecessary..... but i look at it this way. we should addressing the smartasses innability to interact properly. usually these people will read a reply debunking the thoery, agree with it, and have nothing more to add to it. so in hopes of involving themselves, they post there thier smartass comments and make it worse. nothing breeds smartass remarks like other smartass remarks....

a little maturity goes a long way

everyone seems to be gettin along in here at least... hahah
