i am looking for a fix to my problem. i am pretty good at making things. but i am curious if there is any one that's made a replacement for theirs. or if i can buy a cheep fiberglass sterio surround for an s4 from any site.
mine completely fell into countless pieces

 

From what I've seen, its either mazdatrix, a dealership, or get lucky on CL/junkyard/the sale forum here.

I found out, super glue doesn't work on the bezel either...just eats up the plastic, heh

 

I got mine from Mazdatrix. Cheaper than the dealer.

 

ya. but that isnt that cheep haha. ebay they go for about 65 with shipping or more.

 

buy it here on the forum.. classifieds they usually sell for 65 shipped ... and that's for a better s5 model thats rubber not plastic found in our s4s good luck

The S5 is rubber coated plastic, but the design is better. I put one in my car and it looks so much better then the S4 one.

 

i hate those surrounds. always breaking. yea ebay or mazdatrix is ur best bet. unless u wanna bondo the whole darn thing lol

another question....

would a bad wire from the alternator kill my radio? or is that power wire form the alternator not on the same curcit as the accessory wire?

 

I got mine for 60 bucks from a junkyard. guh. Then my roomate sat on it.
