bridgeport question

i just wanna know what the streetability of a bridgeported t2 is and if there are any issues that need to be addressed to make it a more reliable engine and if they generally have a shorter life expectancy than a typical street ported block.. thanks

you might have some bogging out problems but the thing that worries most people is the torque

Poor city mileage, can have issues with bucking at low throttles, crazy idle.

If a bridgeport is done properly, then engine life will be no worse then a street port.

The main question is how much power do you want to make? Streetports will make ~700 reasonably with decent turbo spool.

700? What engine do you speak of? 13BT or 13BREW?

A 13BT can obtain 700 very easily, u just have to know what you're doin, and/or know a puertorican, like me.

You just need a very healthy sized turbo, and a really good tune with a Huge Street Port.

13BT. There are several on this forum with 13BTs and REWs making those numbers.
