breathing fire 7s

So i was thinking to my self, what really cause FC to have that nice flame when letting off the gas at high rpms? is it bad for the car or just natural because of how the car is set up? i don't think my tII drops fireballs but i don't go over 4krmps (still braking it in under 3kmiles on new rebuild) but tell it's get broken in i wont find out.

I may be wrong, but I read somewhere that it is something you get when you remove all of your emmissions equipment.

It comes from your car running very rich and not burning all of the fuel off in the combustion chamber. This a accentuated when removing exhaust emissions components such as catalytic converters.

Flamers in your bed? Are you coming out?

Sware = Swear
Atlest = Atleast

You know why I said that? Because I am so sick an tired of these ******* "my exhaust shoots flames yo" threads that's why. If i was a mod i would have politely moved it to the lounge, but i am not so I will be as rude as possible.

So it shoots flames? Ok mine shoots flames too, I discovered that back in the mid 90's.

its true...once you remove the cats and air pump and run a straight exhaust(ie, headers and straight pipe) you will be able to shoot flames...not very big ones but enough to notice when in low light situations...you will hear a pop upon deceleration(but that doesnt mean you are shooting flames only sometimes) even a stock 7 can do this. but once you start making power and have a good tune you will notice bigger flames shooting out...i know a friend of mine got is FC tuned to 432hp and 380ish tq with race gas running very rich and he shot some big red/blue flames on deceleration...and that was on a light tune..after a few more pulls he made 450hp and like 410tq dont know what setup he used it was years ago...he sold it since then..but yeah...it is definitely possible to shoot flames...but not on every car/engine

I don't know why but I have my airpump intact and have one cat and my rx still shoots flame once in a while. I know this because I saw the backend of my car light up the other night while romping on it.
