brand new fan clutch

These fan cluthes are soon going to kill my appetite for this car. I've way too many problems with them and it was a costly endavour each time i replaced one.

Anyways, so i got this brand new one from MazdaTrix. I also got a new thermostat, just to be sure. So i went to change the thermostat and i managed to break off both bolts. Aggr. Wouldnt be a big deal, except that I managed to break an Eazy-Out inside one of the bolts. Warning: DO NOT EVER USE EAZY OUTS ON THERMOSTAT BOLTS!!! ALWAYS DRILL AND TAP.
Instead of taking 10 minutes, it took me good 4 hours before i had a working thermostat again.

I put on the new f-clutch. The car behaves good in slowmoving trafic now. However, I had read that when the engine is hot, the fan should not move freely. This is not the case with my clutch. I can move it using one finger. What the hell?

my e-fan didn't do as well of a job as the stock fan. I'll only go back to e-fan if I get a Fluidyne or Koyo radiator.-Steve

how do those fan clutches work anyway? There is no electric signal going to them. Is it heat based? On mine it blows real hard for about 10-15 seconds after start up, then it becomes completely inaudible.
You might want to go E-fan if it's being that much of a bother.
