Unhappy brake pressure

ok i just replaced my brake pads last night and i went to drive this car this morning and i had barely any brake pressure. i can stop if i floor the brake pedal or i build up brake pressure by pumping the brake when i'm stopping but even with doing that as soon as i let go i lose all of the pressure. has anyone else ever had this problem and what do i do to fix it?

Did you bleed the brakes when you were doing this?

I'd say rebleed em now anyway, just to make sure you don't have any air in the lines.

ya it could be air in the lines....your master cylinder could have also bit the dust, also if there is no brake fluis you will have virtually no brakes so check that also...but like areexseven said i would bleed the brakes anyway to makes sure

Sounds like air in the lines, but if you did not bleed the brakes when you changed your pads then that is weird. I assume that your reservoir is full, because if it is low then that will induce air into the lines. Worst case would be you need a new master cylinder. Also look for leaks in the bake lines.
