Oh boy! Well this thread has everything you need to know. G/W should have voltage 24/7. W/G should have voltage only when the brake is depressed. Green wire coming out of 4 wire CPU relay only has voltage when W/G wire has voltage. Green wire leads to the rear rear harness to the white plug near the tail lights. Relevant fuse needs to be good. Just fix the problem so it works according to how it came from the factory as there is no need to do it otherwise (none at all!) and be done with it.

hmm thats weird so that thing i told you about, what the previous owner did, well i hooked a wire to the green wire and hooked it up to the solid green wire going to the CPU and it works thats weird...

The Green wire goes to the brake lights. If you connect a wire that has voltage to this Green wire then the brake lights should light up so it's not strange at all. Which Green wire did you connect to the solid Green wire. Was it Green/White or White/Green? If a wire has more than one color you can't leave that out when you describe it.

Please check for voltage on the Green with White stripe (G/W). No key necessary, Use the solid Black wire in the Circuit Opening relay for the ground source for the multimeter.

It's supposed to be fed by the 20 amp Stop fuse. If there is no Stop fuse then there is no power to the G/W wire. So if there is no 20 amp Stop fuse then find one and retest for voltage.

so they wire i wired up, should i put a 20a fuse inline just incase?

Just do what was asked in the previous post. There is no reason to do things different then how it should be. The brake light circuit is one of the simplest if not the simplest circuit in the car. This is not rocket science by any means. The G/W wire needs to be powered by the Stop fuse and the G/W wire needs to have a home in the stop light switch. When its depressed it needs to pass voltage onto the W/G wire which needs to go to the CPU and so on. I cannot see your wiring nor can you tell me other than the G/W does not have constant voltage but the W/G wire has a splice in it with an in line fuse and so on.
