Brake Light!
My brake warning light comes on when I take wide turns and shuts off a second later. I am not talking about the Hand-Brake light theres another brake light that comes on next to the warning belt light.

Covered many times before, but once again...
The BRAKE warning light comes on when the handbrake is on OR the brake fluid reservior is low.
The STOP warning light (S4's only) comes on if a brake light bulb has failed.

My handbrake was off and the brake fluid reservior is at MAX, again I'm not talkng about the hand-brake signal. I have an S5 model as well so that elimnates the stop warning light.
Heres a picture of what I'm talking about.
A signal called Brake appears in between Belts and Washer. This is the light I am talking about, not the brake light at the bottom left corner. Although I am not so sure if its called Brake since the observation was from a friend in the passenger seat when we were driving. I'm not sure if I have ABS either...
*This picture was taken when the key was in the ON posistion*

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
The "brake" light comes on for one of two reasons on a S5... hand brake on, or low brake fluid.
If you have checked both those, and it is still on, then you have a short at the sensor of one or the other, but the fact that it only comes on while cornering, suggests without any doubt that you are low on brake fluid. are you sure you are checking the brake and not the clutch?

If you unplug the sensor does the light still come on???
And I'd have to go check what the light is... I generally avoid S5 models and don't remember it off the top of my head.

Are you absolutely sure that was the light that came on? Because with the ignition turned on all of the bulbs should be lit, and the missing light in the photo is the ANTILOCK warning light. If you don't have ABS, you probably don't even have a bulb in there. Go check if you have ABS and tell us.
My guess would be it was the OIL LEVEL light your friend saw come on. Fast corners with low oil with bring that light on momentarily. Did you hear a buzzer too?

Sorry stupid question but how do I check if I have ABS or not? If I did have ABS shouldn't it be showing on the warning panel as ANTI-LOCK as you mentioned?
No I'm not confident that it said brake...perhaps it said washer fluid level or something else all I know it was in the top right corner.
Well I'm going to go take some wide turns today to be 100%.
