Thumbs down Brake Fluid Res Leaks

Hi,
My idiot panel brake light has been comming on lately (parking brake all the way down) and i just realized that there is a lot of moisture at the seals of the brake fluid reservour where it attaches to that thin metal pipe looking thing. What do i need to do to fix this? Ive just been adding some extra brake fluid every few days to make sure its topped off.

Thanks

oh yeah...its a 91 n/a

buy another one or rebuild it yourself. It happens when you or other people do a tune up or something, and use the reservour as an elbow resting place. That pressure against it causes the seals to widen.

Replace it before the fluid takes care of your paint job.

Oh. Damn. So I have to replace it? No way to fix it? I was thinking of using some silicon around the seals.

It is the whole unit. The resivour and the "metal pipe looking thingy." I am just gonna get some silicone, cuz every person I have talked to that has rebuilt the master cylinder, has had trouble with it!

make sure you do it ASAP. The moron that owned my 'vert before me let it go and go and go and there was brake fluid everywhere.

Peels off the paint, makes it a mess to work on.

I still have brake fliud dripping out of the front cross member every now and then.
