BRAKE CALIPER (this lil thingy broke) NEED HELP~!!!

WTF is that? it rusted off from the rear brakes when i tryed to turn it, then it what was left of it got crushed off when i tryed to remove it with a vice grip. what the hell is it? and how do i get it off? I thougt it might be a 2nd bleeder screw or something

the last pic is the peice that broke off. The shiny silver part in pics 1 and 2 are the remains of this thing that is still stuck in the caliper

Rear brakes have to bleed screws/valves. Looks like one of them is a bit destroyed...

Calipers will run ~$30rebuilt at a autoparts store. The bleeder valves themselves could probably be sourced for a couple bucks-- if you can get the old one out.

but if its not leaking...*meh*

if it's not leaking WHEN? when you slam on the brakes to avoid being run over by the 18-wheeler?LOL...If ya can't get it out properly, just get another caliper...You gotta figure, if the bleeder's all rusted to ****, what's the rest of the caliper (the inside surfaces) look like... Play it safe...
