Braided oil cooler lines and stock FPR

I've been shopping around for new oil cooler lines and it crossed my mind. Why buy these lines for almost 200.00? Aren't they just -10 lines with the correct fittings? So, with that in mind, what size fittings do we need at the block and at the cooler? I believe the cooler attachment was done by bango bolts, but can I put a regular fitting in it's place? Lastly, is the stock regulator on a turbo a rising rate...ie 1pound boost increase fuel by 1 pound? I believe it's 35psi base. Thanks fellas.

That sucks. Was this caused by the design of the SS lines or just an isolated case?

cut your old connectiuons off and have a hydraulic hose place get the ss hose and put the connections back on.

I got mine done for $75 and they work fine.

As far a I know the stock FPR is not a RRFPR..

I think the voltage to the fuel pump gets increased to allow for more fuel... I think...if any one can correct me please do so...

The stock fuel pressure regulator is a 1:1 ratio regulator. The fuel pressure drops with vacuum, and goes up with boost in a 1:1 ratio. All turbo cars are like this - it's to maintain good atomization when spraying fuel into a pressurized manifold.
