you did not install it correctly. Or it is broken. Or your spring rate is set way to high for your boost leval

How can you not install it correctly?? I put the gasket in, put the bov on the flange, and locked it into place with the lock thingy.. then hooked up a vac line to it. This one doesnt have an adjuster either..

Take it off push on the spring spray it with some wd40 move it around some more make sure its good.

Why would anyone buy a BOV without a adjustable spring rate?

no no, the HKS SSQV don't have adjusters.... its a pull type BOV which the boost pressure keeps the valve shut... when a vac is present, it will pull the BOV making it vent... since the boost pressure keeps it shut it won't leak and u do not have to worry about leakage...

the screw on the back turns it ONLY for the sound of the outside black valve... turning it tightly will make a screech when higher boost is present, turning the screw looser will make it have a lower pitched sound

look at the details here
http://www.935motorsports.com/hksbov.htm

if it worked before... and not now (like mine) i heard people take it apart and clean it with WD40 but i have yet to try it...

also, as RETed would tell u, use a dedicated vac source to the BOV, try not to tee it off...if u do, use Ts and not Y spliters and also make the connection on the top of the T and not at the split, put the PS on the tail of the T. see if that works too...

Dont use wd40. Try spraying some carb cleaner and then rinse. Make sure you have a good vac source.
