BOV or not?

Which is better a blow off valve or diverter valve for the FC.
Is it safe to use a BOV?? just for the sound of it.

if your going for sound. then I assume your going to use a non-recirculated one. It will cause your car to run rich and possibly flood everytime you let off the gas.

So stick to the stock one unless your car no longer uses the maf. like if you have a standalone

Uh, OK.

I have been using an Apexi Twin Chamber ever since I did my turbo swap. No ill effects. It never 'floods' when I let off the gas.

It makes it a little better to throw fireballs however. Lol. Then again I don't have any emissions on my FC either.

worded that incorrectly. It feels like it wants to flood out sometimes.

I put a greddy type rs on and it ran richer would backfire with stock exhaust system. And when I let off it felt like the car wanted to turn off. So I decided just not to go with it.

It's just for the sound of it on engines that do not run a significant amount of boost above the stock level. Yes, it is safe, even if it doesn't do anything but make noise and slow your acceleration times.

The temporary rich condition is there, it's just somewhat minor. You will probably not notice it unless you look at your pre and post-BOV acceleration times. However, be assured that running an atmospheric-vented BOV with the stock ECU/AFM does in fact create a rich condition between shifts.

I am aware. I searched before I bought mine. lol!!

It just doesn't seem to affect mine as much as some people say. Oh well, to the OP, do whatever makes you happy. Just remember you need to plug the hole in the TID where the factory valve connected.

Well I know that a bov isn't a good idea on a stock turbo piston engine like in an audi due to the run rich between shifts but don't rotarys run richer than piston engines?

My stock one fell apart so I got the Blitz SS and it's been great, no ill effects, it does add to the flames and back firing when letting of the gas, but I don't have any emissions either so thats just fine with me. And mine didn't make too much noise when going easy but it was louder under spirited driving.

Despite what many of the rotary engine "experts" claim, most things that apply to a piston engine also apply to a rotary engine.

agreed, it doesnt affect me that much either.
also, the RS kit comes with a cool plug to put in the TID to make life easier.
