Boosting a n/a 6port
I built my engine with RA 2 piece seals, so that shouldn't be a problem with a good tune. When I was porting it though, I think I made the aux ports way too big. I was thinking it would probably respond well to boost if I just hook up the aux port actuators straight to the manifold. But with 9.7CR rotors, I don't want/need much boost, and even the stock turbo looks too big to fit. Aaron's writeup involves eliminating the actuators and the ACV. So I figure my only hope is a custom manifold with a huge wastegate and a little Honda turbo or something. Maybe a motocycle turbo...
I'm not going to skimp on the fuel system I was just hoping I could throw the turbo on and run it at low boost till I had the money for the fuel pump and injectors but I also realised that would be a very bad idea...So I have delayed installing my turbo untill I can upgrade my fuel system just so I don't have to buy a new motor. or rebuild it.
