boost solinoid?

so for some reason when i turn up the boost, it either stays pretty much the exzact same 4.5 to 5l lbs, or boosts like freekin 2 lbs, now in the boost controller manual it says if you remove the stock boost solinoid (the stock boost controller) it could have this effect on your car. to my knowlage the boost pressure sensor is the stock boost controller and i cant remember taking anything else off. help?

well the way those controllers work if by not allowing air to pass to yours wastegates until a certain pressure if aquired. With that said my only guess is that if it didn't do it before the boost controller install, you must have a crappy boost controller. As far as only boosting 2lbs, the only answer for that is a fucked wastegate or something. You might wanna check the install of the boost gauges(if installed during boost controller install)
