Boost and racing beat question

So I changed my secondaries to 720cc as recommended by many to support the racing beat exhaust. I was told I would get about 9 PSI. Is that right?
Also, does the wastegate need to be modified in anyway? I dont want to go over 10PSI.

Wastegate does not need to be modified but alot of people recommend porting it. You may spike about 10.5-11lbs i know i do.

How are you controlling the bigger fuel injectors?

You know with 720cc secondaries you are going to need to control them. You need a S-AFC or you could get Rtek v1.7 - Well, there are many options... those are two of the most common, from what I've seen.

Who told you that? Never mind, it doesn't matter. Next time I recommend contacting Racing Beat for advice on their products.

Anyhow, as you have probably now figured out, you need to spend even more money on some type of fuel controller for those injectors, or you can put the 550s back in. Regardless of the injectors, the exhaust will require a Fuel Cut Defenser if you don't have a fuel controller that bypasses the overboost fuel cut, and the defenser will require a boost gauge because it makes the stock gauge read incorrectly.

At least you chose a really nice exhaust system.

I know the correct answer because I got the information directly from Racing Beat. Dare to be knowledgeable!

You can get the wastegate ported if boost becomes a problem. Ask your local rotary engine mechanic if you have any boost concerns.

Why would I need to control them?

RX7 Specialties told me to just put them in so that I dont run lean because of the boost increase.

And now you will run rich. And with no way to control the 720cc injectors, you will have to endure horrible gas mileage. What he should have told you was to use an FCD.

Port the wastegate, get an FCD and buy an S-AFC.
