Boost line to UIM pic

Where exactly is the best place to attach the clear vac line back to the boost guage on an 87 TII with all emissions still intact? If you can post a pic of that it would be great!
Thanks
Jim

i have no pics but a baby can do it. just find a vacuum source on the intake manifold. you can put a T in a line from the mani and use that for a boost reading.

and vacuum source will work.

hook it to the very bottom nipple on the back of the UIM. On a stock car it goes to the water themovalve on the TB (with a check valve), which controls the double throttle butterflies. You can remove that factory line altogether if you want to and hook the boost gauge to that bottom. The double throttle system is only designed to keep you from loading the engine down too much when it's cold, but if you're not a dumbass it's not needed.

I'd like to do it without disconnecting anything. I found a link for the FD, apparently there is unused nipple on their manifold. Is there one of the second gen?
Thanks
