boost issue???

Aight i have an 88 turbo2 im haveing problems with boost it goes to about 3psi and just drops it out back to 0psi what could be the problem

And there is no shaft play and no smoke or oil dripping from exhaust

Yes and have not been able to find any thing and my bov when reved blows off once and then does not if that helps at all.

Yeah it blows off once and no chatter at all and thats good though.

are u using stock top mount? make sure all ur charge pipe are tight and yes definately check for a vacuum leak... does the idle jumps?

Yeah found a vac leak at the big block off plate on the back of the intake mani.

But yeah it has a stock top mount and it has been idleing about 1500 not sure y

well if its not warmed up would be around there, mine usually 2k when cold start then drop to 1.2k after 10 sec. then wen its fully warm its about 800-900 rpm..
