Boost Gauge...remember i am a Noob

ok here is the deal my buddy gave me a boost gauge that he had hooked up in his eclipse and he told me all i have to do is hook it up to any vaccum hose. but i wanted to make sure of it can someone tell me where i need to hook it up to please? remember i am a NOOB this is my first FC and my first turbo'ed car so i don't want to mess anything up! thanks guys

You want a direct feed from after the throttle body.

Many tee in the line from the lower intake manifold (LIM) to the compressor bypass valve (CPV).

^^^ That's where I T'd in my boost gauge. Also, does the gauge your buddy gave you light up?

yes it does i see the two wires i wasn't sure where to tap them into i was thining the radio

There's a couple of place you could get the power. I went for the light for the lighter. Maybe that was the long way around it but, I figure if I decide to move the gauge later, I'll have plenty of slack.

thats not a bad idea so when i turn on the lights it will turn on! being that i don't have a lighter there i can use that i need to find a replacement for the lighter i need to find a lot of parts to replace..lol thanks man i will look into that i am also going to hook up a air fuel ratio gauge that is easy right just tap into the o2 sensor
