Problems with FD Alt. install

So ive been trying to get this to work for about a month off and on. I wired everything correctly so i know for sure it works because it actually starts as opposed to not at all before. At idle, everything works fine but as soon as i gas it, squelling noises appear. I've gone back and forth adjusting the tension and nothing seems to work. Im using the higgi dual alt pulley with one belt if that matters. Im just frustrated and not sure what to do now about it. Could it be a bad belt? Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

I may be wrong, but I thought I had read somewhere that when you run the Dual Pulley, that means you don't have the air pump installed right? And the belt that used to run your Air Pump, also ran the Water Pump, and the belt that runs your Alternator also runs your Water Pump. So you used to have 2 belts running your water pump, and now you only have one.

The squeaking is coming from your belt, (singular) not being able to turn your Water Pump without help from another belt.

needa13b, The point of a dual-alt pulley is just that, to KEEP 2 belts turning the water pump. Hence..DUAL..hehe..

Yeah, and he is NOT running 2 pulleys. That would be a problem right?
