I used the gromet that the wiring harness goes through on the drivers side right below the clutch master cylinder. I used a gromet feeder. Its a screwdriver lookin thing that has a sharp tube witha handle you can feed wire and such through. Great tool to have.

Heres a drawing I made a while back. It shows where I hooked up my Greddy Boost Gauge. Instead of using the fuel pressure regulator line, most people use the vacuum line that connects to the boost sensor on the pass. strut tower.

On my 89 T2 I found a spare nipple just above the air control valve that works well to get the signal. It's got a stock black rubber plug on it.

I passed the vacuum line through the firewall in place of a stock plastic plug. This hole is probaly 1/4 to 5/16 in diameter so it's a bit of a squeeze for the some types of vacuum line. The hose comes through behind the glove box between the blower fan cavity and evaporator cavity (yes you MUST take out the glove gox to do this). Hold a flashlight up to the hole on the engine side of the firewall to see where it comes through.

There's no way to get your hand on it so I threaded some string through with a coat hanger, taped it onto the vacuum line and pulled it through.

Here's a picture of the nipple I'm talking about. It's on the rear rotor primary runner

The plug I popped out was directly below the wiper motor about 3 inches down.

I've checked through the search engines on this website and have found a couple of posts that say you can use the pressure sensor vaccum line or the vaccum line that runs to the blowoff valve, which one will work the best???

dude ya'll are crazy, I got my self an Autogauge boost meter and it says to hook it up to the pressure sensor line, I just got a 3 way pressure T at autozone and hook it out inline with the pressure sensor, the top outlet I connected to my boost gauge, and I just ran it through the hole on the drivers side, it no longer has the grommet in it since I am constantly wireing this from my engine bay to the cabin....what are ya'll smoken?

oh I didn't see that nipple that inboost posted, thats the nipple that goes to the pessure sensor, just T it off, closer to the manifold better the reading, i guess, I have mine about 8 inches away from it seems to work fine....

BlackRx7,

I wonder if the extra nipple (the one in the photo I posted is not the boost sensor nipple) is only something for S5 cars. I wonder if it was for the Sub-Zero assist tank?

can you be more specific like circle it and post up what your talking about, I only see 1 exposed nipple (XXX, hehe) anyway are you talking about the vaccum rac? look as is you have not removed your emission, that thing under the nipple is the ACV or Air Controll Valve, if you get rid of your air pump and emission it will prolly only give you like 3 hp if any, so if its working correctly I'd leave it on.......btw the sub zero start resivor is on the left engine bay wall also touching the firewall, there is one hose coming from it to under the Upper intake manifold, if you want to removed this (it is highly reccomned since it does nothing even dealerships say remove it) though if you don't it won't hurt a thing if you leave it....

Perhaps. I believe there is a nipple below the CSS **** that it uses.

The pic I posted shows the top of the ACV and the adjust screw for the BAC for reference.

It's on the upper manifold and seems to reference the rear rotor's primary runner (3rd runner from front of motor). It had a rubber cap on it that seemed factory.

I didn't even see this thing until I removed my ABS system.

It's really no different than the boost sensor line, it just saves you from having to add a 'tee' and looks a little cleaner.

TurboIIRex,

I suppose that's what it could have been for. My BOV (air bypass valve) is tee'd into the boost sensor line. It looks factory, but perhaps it's not. My engine was rebuilt before I got the car so who knows how it's supposed to be.
