Boost Gauge problem

Boost Gauge problem

So i hop into my car and start it up. Its a nice day so i give it a little boost and i look at the gauge and its reading zero. I let it go to to idle, and its still reading the same thing. Its just frozen. I shut it down, let it sit for a little bit and fire it back up, same thing. I was under the hood today cleaning it up, could i have hit something? Thanks for any thoughts

I assume you're talking about an after market boost gauge... did you break the "pressure tube"? It's easy to snap because they're usually cheap, brittle plastic. Other things to check are your vac lines that plumb into the gauge.

do you have a stock one or a aftermarket....the stock ones do that from time to time...if its an after market one blow compressed air into the line from the motor and that should make it what....it did for mine

i have the same problem, would that confirm my suspicions of a vacuum leak (my other hint was a rough, erratic and inconsistent idle)

Where exactly does the gauge read from. That way i could get a better idea of where to start looking
