Boost gauge/intake manifold..
I was wondering if anyone has installed a boost gauge using the rubber capped nipple on the intake manifold, and how they did it. This is on a S5 TII.

My autometer gauge came with a screw-in NPT fitting, that requires a hole to be drilled and tapped in the manifold.
I am looking at some other way though- I'd like to avoid that.

Just use a tube...
I just used some Vacuum hose from a T-fitting from the boost sensor, stuck the nylon hose through as far as it could go down into the silicon hose, then Tie-wrapped all the way up (6-7 tie wraps).
No leaks, and no problems, and 7.5-9 PSI of boost (depending on the heat).

I was over at KD rotary last week and Dave pointed out this nipple that's on the manifold, he said to run the hose into that, but i did'nt have the boost gauge when I talked to him, now that I have it, I can't figure out how to get it on there.
