Bodywork/damage ?'s

I still haven't been able to get the fender off my car, how the hell do I do this? I did manage to look under the car today and asses things. Suspension wise, there's no damage, save the borked ball joint. The body took all of the blow, it seems, and the suspension NONE. Good. I might need a new tire, not sure if the front one still holds air, but we'll see. There's a small cut in the sidewall, but it doesn't look like its very deep. I'm going to get a set of new falkens soon anyways, so now would be as good of a time as any.

Underneath the car there is some wrinkling, but it doesn't extend very far. 4-6" tops, around this part here:

Just below the corner of the door is roughly where it ends, it doesn't look like the door hit very hard.

Am I going to need to remove the door before I can remove the fender? because the door doesn' open...
The shock tower and everything up top appears to have no damage at all. I pulled the shock today, and kinda verified this. it looks fine.

This sounds fixable, right?

It will be easier (and cheaper) to replace the fender bumper. Unless you were going to hammer out the dent yourself. Remove the fender liner inside the wheel well. Look between the fender and body back towards the door. You will see a bolt about halfway up. Remove it. Under the car, there is another fender bolt just ahead of the door. Remove it (it will break, usually). At this point, you should be able to pull the fender out a little to open the door. This will let you get to the top bolt hidden by the door.
The bumper needs to come off too.

I got the fender off... no bolts broken, except 1 in the fender liner.

Doesn't look too bad at all.. I still have no idea how to fix it, but it doesn't look very damaged. Going to talk with a body shop and have someone come out on monday, unless I can find someone tomorrow

Any idea as to why the door won't close/is a mile away at the top (there's like 2" of seperation between top of door and roof of car) The hinges don't appear to have moved at all, and the glass didn't break in the door, which leads me away from bent door theroy wtf could have happened, obviously something has moved, but what?

It might be cheaper just to replace it with a non damaged one.

generally speaking, a slight bend in the frame of your car, like small one at the bottom, isn't going to be easily visible to somebody who doesn't know what they are doing and it could cause a larger looking space further from the bend like the one at the top of you door. you should get the whole car checked out by a collision shop, not just a body shop. a collision shop is like a miracle body shop that brings back cars from the dead.

Swoping fenders tomorrow.

Thanks for the help with the bolt location.

We'll see if it only takes 10 minutes.

you don't have to take the bumper off... BUT you do have to loosen it. Take off the two big bolts at the bottom on the side that you're working on
there is another bolt (for the fender) hidden by the headlight, its near the front
then on the inside there are 3 bolts that are right near the bumper, undo these and you can pull the bumper off far enough to get the fender out.
