Question BNR Boost question....

I was currious as to how much PSI can be run with the stock injectors and a walbro 255lph fuel pump with a BNR stage 2 and 3 turbo....

only for a little bit as i will get bigger injectors, but in the mean time i'd like to install either turbo and be alright for a bit on the stock injectors, wouldnt run crazy boost but moderate for the time being till i upgrade....

I would say.....

6-10 psi

It also kind of depends on what intercooler your running and hot things are where you live?

While on topic...can a stage 3 be pushed to 17psi for track use? with 720cc injectors, the walboro, and all the suporting mods including a standalone...the guy I bought it from (never used) doesn't know if he got the 360 thrust bearing thing...so i dunno. The wastegate came preset at 12 psi so I want to run 12 psi daily and 17 on track and when I see what kinda hp I can produce.

The stock 4 x 550 fuel injector can only safely support like 230 to 240 at the wheels at the stock fuel pressure levels.

I don't believe the stage three will go up to 17psi safely. I mean when I talked to brian he said run the stage the at 15psi. If you want more than that get a stage IV. Also do you have just 720cc secondaries? If so that is not enough fuel.

I was thinking of getting 1000cc or 1600cc secondarys...I just want some that fit with MINIMAL modification. The stock turbo can push 12 psi..so why couldn't the stage 3 hit 17 =/ The compressor wheels are bigger, and numerous things have been done to it. Reason for not getting stage IV: I bought this stage 4 from someone who changed their mind after buying it at a good price. I have just enough time to order some bigger injectors if I go second day air. Sending in the turbo in to get another upgrade would cost too much in rushed shipping and the upgrade itself.....I think imma talk to Brian on the phone...I think the stage 3 could do it What are some cheap BIG injectors that fit with no or little moidification?

1000cc PTE injectors fit into the stock rail with no problems at all. Just use oem grommets and orings and you're set. The top grommet gets squished because the injector is a little taller but it doesnt matter. I got them from a website for under $200 shipped with a pair of new RC engineering connectors.

EDIT: surprisingly my car doesnt bog unless I go over 60% throttle at about 5.5k rpm with no fuel control whatsoever. For everyone who's gonna try and get on my case I have a PFC I'm working issues out with before I tune.

^ Well I've only driven for a few days now so I cant really tell you yet. Looks to be close to normal, but maybe that's because I cant go full throttle all the way to redline. I still make good power and it still pulls at half throttle though.

i assume you at least have an SAFC installed then...

or i assume you mean you have them in the secondary locations, i just can't picture your car running that pig rich at idle, lol.

i don't know why i pictured 1000's dumping fuel into your engine in the primary locations.

Yea theyre in the secondaries. I had an SAFC2 but sold that to a friend since I thought my Power FC was complete but seems like I'll have to work around some things so no fuel control for me lol. I'll survive.

Uh, you're crazy!
I did 253 at the wheels, and the Horiba confirmed AFR's were safe.
The AVC-R showed the pulsewidth was over 90% though!
I don't call that safe!

Are you talking about just 720's in the secondaries?
