I have plenty of black lighting on my all-black s5. Looks very good. (If someone in light colors sits in my car, it's like watching a glow in the dark show...)

Scanned a black one. Cleaned the image up, in photoshop. Seperated the colors.

Printed those onto film sheets, cut the film sheets, attached the film sheets to a silk screen. Silk screened a sheet of heavy duty white single sided sign vinyl with waterproof, fade proof inks.

Then trimed and cut.

A couple people have been asking for silver, but then I have to do three ink layers (silver surround, then red, then blue), so based on how the white ones sold, I am less than wanting to do any more.

can you do the lights for a skyline r33. One of my customers has an all blue light theme on his gtr. I did underbody neon kits for him and he has some other trick bits as well. If you'd do it, i'd talk to him.

Grayish/silver would be nice, as I have grayish silver gauges

I have not seen the panel and can not say for sure without seeing it, but Yes I should be able to do that.

Feel free to PM or email me and we can work out the details

i like the UV ones, and i also agree with a previos post, if you could do everything like that if think it would look cool. As for me buying one, i wouldnt now due to low funds at the time, so i opted for the maybe in a couple months option. good work though.

Thanks... I started them on my website under special pre-order pricing, so if I get any orders I'll go ahead and build those and ship those first, otherwise I'll just finish building what I have parts for and see if the first couple sell or if I dump them on ebay in 6 months.

Is there anyway to remove the orage lettering and symbols and replace it with white, and keep the black faces?

Not without replacing the panel.

Hey I have these now available on my website, and I am also bringing out a DIY one that has the lights installed, but you need to swap an electrical panel inside your logicon.

I like the stock orange look on my car, BUT if someone made a whole conversion kit (blue/whatever NOT ORANGE gauages, cruise, logicon, wipers, etc) then I would buy it in a heartbeat, hell, if it was a TOTAL conversion to blue then I would be willing to pay say.. $300 CDN.. ($220USD?) for that..

icemark, i would probably do a limited "release" sort of deal. Make only like 5 or 10 of them. and if there is a high enough demand for you to make them, then give it the green light. just my .02 cents.

I think they look pretty damn cool, but I just don't think it would look good to me unless the WHOLE interior is changed.

Plus my stereo is red/orange... so all the orange and crap matches

How much work is really involved here? Isnt it just a matter of soldering replacement blue (or watever color) LEDs into the area that the orange ones were in?

actually it depends on the color.

For Red and Green indicator lights, yes it is just a matter of swapping the LEDs (as well as I rebuild the logicon at the same time, replacing and upgrading some of the common parts that fail).

But for the Blue and UltraViolet indicators, there are specific resistors that need to be changed as well. In addition they do not normally make rectangular Blue or Violet LEDs, so I have a supplier in Hong Kong that makes me a custom 3mm semi rectangular LED with wide dispersal lens for the Logicons.

The resistor changes are required for brightness. The Blue particularly are way too bright (even though they are the same MCD as the Red and Orange LEDs). So specific resistors have to be used. I spent about a month playing with different values to trace down which resistance worked best for both day and night operation.

To make it cheaper for some people, I did bring out a DIY package, that has the resistors and LEDs already changed on a rebuilt controller board. This is about half the price of the regular colored light unit.

It does require disassembly of the Logicon however.

They are available under the products/ rebuilt products section of my website.

No, The bulbs are seperate of the indicators, and even 12K MCD white LED bulbs do not work well as a replacement for the actual bulbs because of dispersal.

The indicators are LEDs however.
