What In The Hell?!
I always thought that the FC ran pig rich in the upper range, so I set my S-AFC II to do a very gradual curve up to -25% by 7600 RPM. That was an okay setup, but the car felt slow as hell from 5000-7000 (where the S-AFC II was supposed to HELP). Recently, I changed my settings to +25% by 7600 RPM, and WOW, my car runs so much faster it's not even cool. It felt like within 5 minutes someone had swapped my Racing Beat header and presilencer back on; that was the difference in top-end power. I timed myself, and I picked up nearly a second from 0-60, and from 1st to 3rd gear was quicker than I've EVER felt.
From my understanding going to "+25%" is running the car 25% rich, completely opposite from everyone's common experience with gaining the most horsepower by running the car leaner than stock. I don't get it - could anyone possibly explain this? The difference couldn't be from colder air, because the temperatures on both days was similar.

I myself am not entirely sure, but I was thinking of taking my RX7 in to a shop to have the injectors checked to see how they're flowing. I still don't get it... I'm dynoing the car in two months, so then we can see what REALLY makes power.
