CA Blown water seal and NA to Turbo conversion

I blew a water seal in my S5 N/A after only 15000 miles. Yup! Did everythign right right up until last week when I had the bright idea to put a little bit of miracle oil in my radiator as a corrosion preventive. Okay, everyone stop laughing. I have a built up turbo engine ready to go into to my S5 turbo, but that car still needs a lot of body work. I've been flirting with the idea of just dropping the turbo into my NA until I get it the T2 body fixed and the NA rebuilt. Obviously I have all the parts needed to do the conversion because I already have the T2. What all would I need to swap over and can someone point me to a good thread.?
thanks

haha, you can keep it simple. If its the same series engine, just swap over the N/A flywheel to the turbo engine and it will bolt right up to the N/A transmission. Your going to need to stretch a few wires and cut or de-pin one or two. Also make sure you use all turbo electronics, AFM, ECU, and MAP sensor. RotaryRocket88 has a faq that tells you which ones to remove.

I did search the archives and all I could find were S4 NA to turbo conversions or USDM NA to JDM conversions. I didn't find any S5 NA to USDM turbo conversions. I guess the questions I have are beside the harness, engine, MAF, Boost sensor and instrument cluster, transmission, differential, and tail shaft, what else needs to be swapped? Does the body harness have to be swapped, anything in the exhaust have to be swapped over?

When using the S5 NA EM harness:

1) Plug 6PI connector into turbo duty solenoid (ECU pin 3R)
2) Cut VDI plug off and connect ECU-side wire (Y/B) to knock sensor (ECU pin 2M)

Other than that, it's basically the exact same procedure (with the S5 electronics) as is outlined in the first post of this thread. The only real exception is that the N370 US-spec ECU should be used, or a chipped N374 J-spec ECU. The stock N374s have a history of not firing the injectors properly when mated to US-spec wiring.

you put MMO in your radiator? ok.

easiest to just avoid the swap and fix the turbo car.

it's going to cost more in the long run trying to do what you want to do.
