blocking OMP remove omp gear?

blocking OMP remove omp gear?

s5 engine blocking OMP leaving OMP connected
the front cover is off should i remove the OMP drive gear and assmebly?

No, because you may want to switch back one day, and having to pull the cover would be a bitch.

Just put 4 bolts in each of the OMP holes if you want to leave it on the cover and plugged in. The alternative is to use a blockoff plate, remove the OMP but ziptie it back elsewhere in the enginebay while leaving it plugged into the harness, to keep the ecu happy.

reasoning. is repu front cover on s5 engine. but no harm done if left in with removing OMP the drive just spins and doesnt mesh with the block off plate?

Leaving the gear in the front cover doesnt hurt anything. that is how it is normally done.
