Unhappy big problms.. help lol

sorry if this has been asked before i searched around a bit and didnt find much.
anyway i have a problem. i just got my car on the road its an 87 fc base base base.
it has 190000ks on it.
so i filled the tank up with 91, i drove about 80kms yesterday and a little more then half the tank was gone. when i step on it the car has no power what so ever, it doesnt go at all, its verrrryy slow.
later on in the day i went to go turn it on after work and it wudnt start.. my friend whos a mechanic said it was flooded. i came back later on at night and it started right up. then this morning it wudnt start agian.

so im pretty sure it doesnt have compression in the rear rotor but i havnt checked yet. what do u guys think. i probably need a rebuild right?

probably a compression problem, from what I've read.

Check the archives, they might have the answer to your problem

Check compression. If that is Good Change the Fuel Filter..it sounds like the car is flooding because your Injectors are Dirty.(most likely Culprit).you have to get them Replaced,or Cleaned IF that is the case..good luck.(I had a car last year, same thing..wouldn't start after a 5 mile run, after sitting for an hour....,Starts after 3-4 hours...starts Great in the Morning.)..you have to Remember If the car is Flooding,That you can just take the EGI fuse out,and crank for 5 or so seconds,Then Re-install the EGI Fuse and start it,with no Pressure on the Gas pedal..It is a Pain,Right Now,But it Honestly worked for me,Until I Fixed the Problem(NO I didn't replace the injectors..I SOLD the Car!).

sounds like maybe dirty/ leaky injectors...
they usually dont cost very much to get them cleaned...
take your fuel pump out and check that too...just to make sure the continuity is correct.

Sounds like you have the rare "stuck injector syndrome". One injector may be stuck/sticking open. Often the car will run (poorly) but fail to restart and flood horribly (puddle of fuel on the ground).

Check for vacuum leaks. Dirty fuel filter, or a disconnected hose somewhere.

You can put in the Seafoam..but Ultimately it May or May NOT work..it is as AARON Says "a BandAid"..Snake OIL..NO Liquid of any kind can Duplicate PROPER Cleaning of the injectors..If that is the Problem..but it's your call..

Do a proper compression test first. If compression is low, you may be wasting your time "fixing" peripheral problems when in actuality the engine needs to be rebuilt or replaced.
