o, and to protect urself from heat get some drill chill to keep it cold (its good for teh bits too lol) but WD-40 will work if u have some on hand, thats what i used..........thats what i always use when drilling at home cause im a cheap bastard and dont wanna run to the store to get some drill chill hahahah

an di used a bit that was just barly smaller than the bolt head so when i got the head off it spun and thats how i knew i was done

Just go to pep boys and buy the giant box of grade 8 metric screws and nuts. Something should fit.

cant believe no one has mention that he will need to drain the tank if he dremels or drill it...ANY spark and you are toast...drain the tank then just drill out the old bolts and then replace them..use a smaller bit then the bolts and with a little skill you will have the pump out in no time...If you dont want to drain the tank then run it empty-but that is not the best idea because you will pump some gunk into your fuel system

^^^oh yea, that'll work

I wouldn't go so far as draining my tank....you'll never get all the fumes out of it. Just drill slow and steady....you'll get it. Use a small bit it will cut faster then go up in size.

All you have to do is save one screw and take it to the hardware store and match it. Chanches are one of them will come out. You might try that first. see if you can get one out before destroying the rest of them.
