How much gas is in the tank and how long has it been doing this?

Looks like people are so concerned with the RX-7's un-reliability, that common sense goes out the window, and they run to this place for help, at the slightest hint of a potential problem.

I just find this so hilarious.

He has a problem (a fairly major one, actually). He comes to an online help forum for help. What is so funny about that? Isn't that the whole point of this forum, to help people?
That said, this has been asked before and could have been found by searching or reading the FAQ page.
The most likely culprit is that your in-tank fuel filter (also called the fuel sock) is dirty and needs to be replaced. If you look in the FAQ at the top of the 2nd gen tech section you will probably find a link to this, as well as a link to the FSM (factory service manual.) In the FSM you will find directions on how to replace the fuel sock.
There is also a possibility that the fuel tank baffles are rusted away, but this is much less likely.

Not sure if this applies, but do u have power steering??? If so check your power steering switch!!(2 wire switch on the bottom front of the p/s pump) Start the car and allow it to idle, unplug the switch, with a DMM check for continuity!!! There should be continuity when wheel turn all the way left or right but none when wheels straight!!! If it's otherwise, replace switch!!! Know I don't know for sure if this would cause the engine to cut out during sharp turns but it's a good place to start!!!!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I do believe that the fuel pump pick up/ sock is located in a "pit" or depression if u will at the bottum of the tank, to prevent the pump from sucking air during sharp turns!!!! No offence intended towards Sideways7, but I don't see how a dirty in-tank filter would cause such a problem "ONLY" during sharp left turns!!!! Wouldn't that cause issues at all times???? Please correct me if I'm wrong!!!

No it happens, its a common known issue. On left turns the gas gets rushed to the other side and when the sock is dirty it has no way of compensating.

rusted fuel tank baffes is another possibility. Then you'd need a new fuel tank.

Hopefully (probably?) it's just the fuel sock.
