Best way to support the body? (removing subframe)

I'm about to remove my front subframe so I can paint my engine bay but I'm not exactly sure where is the best place to put the jackstands.

I'm not too keen on using the frame rails since they bend easily. Should I use the side sills?

Not sure if I should use blocks of wood to distribute the weight evenly since I need it to be really secure.

If you don't mind a little paint on your jackstands, put them where the subframe mounts. Otherwise the area at the bottom(on the floor) of the post the door mounts to has some reinforcement for jacking.

Guess I'm going to use the the side sills but with some wood along the underside. Just hope it stays steady. **crosses fingers**

Use the the front-most part of each frame rail (2), and 2 the rear subframe. Personally, I don't like the pinch welds, (side sills), because I've seen a few that have folded over.
