Best way to remove 'vert centercaps?

I finally got around to picking up the centercaps for my 'vert wheels but no one local has the plastic tool. I don't really want to wrench on these with my big 'ole pliers.

What's the favored way of installing/removing them w/o the tool?

I gotcha. The tires were cheap, but the tool will cost you $$$.

The actual BBS wheel cap wrench is pretty cheap.. less than $50 at most tire/wheel shops and around $25 at many.

they show up all the time on ebay for around $15

LISTEN VERY CAREFULLY: This is very difficult to do.

-Look at cap menacingly.
-Grasp cap with right/left hand(preference option)
-Place cap in middle of rim
-TWIST TO THE RIGHT. RIGHTY TIGHTZYZ!11oneeleven

Zomg you just put the cap on.

My wife does all my wrenching for me. I sit back in the shade with a brew in one hand, shop manual in the other and bark instructions while I watch her work (true story, for realz.)

Girls = wimps so I need the tool or something to fab.

Or maybe I will man up and do it manually, thanks for the ad-vice.
