Best Turbo upgrade

I know, I know.... old topic, but I DID try the search button and the threads all seemed to veer off topic. I am selling my trans am and getting a family vehicle AND a weekend toy. I'm looking at getting a 91 GXL with a TII swap and FMIC ( yay, 14th rx7 for me ). I'm wanting to upgrade the turbo ( after I get a walbro or t rex, bigger injectors, etc ) pretty soon. My TA runs a 12.5-12.7 at about 115mph, so I want something that can give similiar performance. The car will be a weekend toy. So not too concerned with driveability. It will see track duty though. So to cut to the chase, I want the biggest turbo with least lag. So what am I looking for guys? T04 60trim...what???? Thanks guys, and its good to be home

all the info I see on it relates to the FD. Is it compatable with the FC?

FC and FD are pretty much the same engine wise all that matters is the manifold when mounting the turbo.
my vote goes to the T51R KAI
you get to run NA on the low end and turbo on the top end.

Eventually they will sell it by itself. But not for a while. I need the full kit anyway so, whatever. Its about a month wait on a gt35rs kit too.

Yeah, but for those of us who want the 35RS now, it sucks. I'm going to be selling my 42R for the 35RS (i should've never sold my original 35R with a T4 hotside and moved to the lag monster...)

Haha, I thought about the 40R, but still a little too much lag for my liking.
